Abilities
Character Abilities: As a War Monk, Libra is handy with a great axe and with healing spells. It’s also hinted that he’s very physically strong. He can also (in game) reclass into a mage or a dark mage, meaning he can also use offensive magic. (But really, he’s best as a healer in game, plus with his personality… don’t make him kill more people.)
Character Skills: Healing, Axe Wielding, “black” Magic (when reclassed, but I’m sure that will be different in the game), Painting, Sewing, taking care of children (he opens an orphanage after the game is over)
Approach
What interests you most about playing this character in this game?
I like to take characters from a world very unlike this setting and put them in it because I like to see how they’ll react. Libra comes from a medieval world with magic. Technology and many of what we would call ‘modern comforts’ would confuse him, but he’d want to learn about them… and then try to use them to make life better for other people. (That and trying to figure out how to live without being in a war. That will be interesting too.)
How do you see your character adjusting to/approaching the game world?
With the awe and wonder of a child, lol. He’s not used to technology at all. Outside of medieval tech used for war, he’s not savvy. All the colors and odd devices, along with the new magic will be stuff for him to learn to use. He’s probably going to lean on the other outworlders to learn and adjust, because this is also what he did in Ylisse. He has a lot of issues from his childhood and then into the Grima War.
What do you see your character finding most interesting about the setting/game premise?
As mentioned earlier, the technology. Along with that, probably the fact that it’s bringing in so many different people from so many different lives and worlds and having them work together. He has a small worldview, and I hope to think he’d enjoy learning about other people and their homes.
